Effective date: November 5, 2026.
This accessibility statement applies to the website operated by GovArrow at www.govarrow.com. It explains what we aim for, where the site may still fall short, and how visitors can reach us if they encounter a barrier or need content in another format.
Our commitment
GovArrow is a recruitment and executive search firm serving government and public sector employers across the United States. The people who visit our site include public agency leaders, hiring executives, and candidates considering public service careers, and we want the site to work for all of them, including visitors who use assistive technology or who navigate in ways other than a mouse and a visual display.
We are committed to making our digital content usable by people with disabilities, and we treat accessibility as an ongoing responsibility built into how the site is maintained. In practice, that means accessibility is considered when new pages are published, when forms are updated, and when third-party tools are added to the site.
What this site aims for
GovArrow is working toward conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. These guidelines, published by the World Wide Web Consortium, are the widely recognized technical standard for digital accessibility, and they shape how we design, build, and review the site. Because full conformance is an ongoing effort, the areas below describe the specific outcomes we work toward in each part of the visitor experience.
Keyboard use
We aim for all site functions, including navigation, forms, and interactive elements, to be operable with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus indicator, so that visitors with mobility impairments and others who do not use a mouse can reach and use every part of the site. This includes menus and any step required to submit an inquiry.
Screen readers
We aim for content to be structured with clear headings, meaningful link text, descriptive form labels, and alternative text for informative images, so that visitors using screen readers can understand each page and move through it in a logical order.
Color contrast and text resizing
We aim for sufficient color contrast between text and its background, and for content to remain readable and functional when visitors enlarge text through their browser settings or zoom the page, so that low vision does not prevent access to the information on the page.
Captions for video
Where video content is used on the site, we aim to provide captions so that visitors who are deaf or hard of hearing can access the same information as everyone else. Where audio-only content is published, we aim to offer a transcript.
Known limits and ongoing review
Some parts of the site may not yet fully meet the standard described above. Accessibility work is continuing, and we review the site periodically as content and features change and as the underlying guidelines evolve. Content supplied or hosted by third parties, such as embedded media or external application systems, may not be under our direct control, though we will still help visitors obtain the information another way.
If a particular page or feature presents a barrier, that is a limitation of our site, not of the visitor. We would rather hear about the problem directly than leave anyone unable to reach the information they need, and a report from a visitor is often the fastest way for an issue to come to our attention.
Reporting a barrier or requesting another format
Visitors who have difficulty using www.govarrow.com, or who need information from the site in a different format, can contact us and we will provide the information another way. For example, we can supply content by email, over the phone, or in an alternative document format on request.
Email contact@
When you contact us, it helps to include:
- the web address of the page in question;
- a brief description of the problem and what you were trying to do;
- the browser, device, or assistive technology you were using, if you know it;
- the format you would prefer the information in, if you are requesting an alternative.
This detail helps us locate the issue and respond accurately.
Changes to this statement
We may update this statement as the site changes, as our accessibility work progresses, or as legal requirements develop. The effective date at the top of this page shows when the statement was last revised, and readers should check that date when referring to this document.
