Privacy policy

Questions about this policy? Email contact@govarrow.com.

Effective date: November 5, 2026.

This Privacy Policy explains how GovArrow ("GovArrow," "we," "our," or "us"), a recruitment and executive search firm serving government and public sector employers across the United States, collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information submitted through www.govarrow.com (the "Site"). It applies to all Site visitors, including client contacts, hiring managers, and candidates who communicate with us by any means, such as web forms, email, or telephone, or who choose to upload a document with a form, such as a request for proposal, a position description, or a resume. If you do not agree with the practices described here, please do not submit personal information through the Site.

What we collect

We collect the details you enter in Site forms: your name, email address, phone number, organization, role and location details, the content of your message, and any document you choose to upload with a form. You choose what to share with us. If a field is optional, you can leave it blank and still submit the form.

We use this information to respond to your inquiry, to continue the conversation you started, and to keep a record of our correspondence. We do not sell this information, and we do not share it with third parties except where a service provider processes it on our behalf in order to operate the Site or deliver our reply to you.

The Site may use cookieless analytics.

How we use your information

We use the information you submit to respond to your inquiry and to support our recruitment activities. This includes evaluating candidates, communicating with client contacts, and carrying out the assessment and placement work involved in our executive search and public sector recruitment engagements.

In practice, that means we may use your information to:

  • Reply to a question, request, or application you have sent us.
  • Assess your suitability for a current or future search assignment.
  • Contact you about a role, a candidate, or a search we are conducting on behalf of a client.
  • Maintain accurate records of our correspondence and recruitment activity.

We do not use your information for unrelated purposes, and we do not sell personal information.

How information is shared

Form submissions are emailed to GovArrow through Microsoft 365, and the Site is hosted on Cloudflare, which processes technical data needed to operate and secure it. These providers act as service providers on our behalf and receive only the information needed to deliver and secure the Site. Beyond these service providers, we do not share your personal information except where required by law.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own advertising or marketing purposes.

Retention

We retain submitted information only for as long as it is needed to respond to your inquiry and to support our recruitment activities. Once that purpose has been fulfilled, the information is deleted or anonymized so that it can no longer be linked back to you.

Retention periods vary depending on the type of information and the reason it was collected. General inquiries are kept for the time required to handle the request and any reasonable follow-up, while recruitment-related details may be held for the duration of the hiring process and, where permitted, for a limited period afterwards in case a suitable role becomes available.

If you would like your information removed sooner, you can contact us and we will delete it unless we are required to keep it to meet a legal, regulatory, or record-keeping obligation.

Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect the personal information we hold. These measures include the hosting and email safeguards provided by our service providers, such as encrypted connections to our website, access controls that limit who can view personal information, and retention practices that remove information when it is no longer needed.

Please be aware that no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure. While we work to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security, and any information you send to us is sent at your own risk.

If you believe your personal information has been compromised, or you have questions about how we safeguard it, please contact us using the details provided in this policy.

Your rights and choices

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information submitted through the Site by emailing contact@govarrow.com. To help us act on your request, please tell us which right you wish to exercise and include enough detail for us to locate your information. We respond within a reasonable period.

Before we act on a request, we may need to take reasonable steps to verify your identity so that we do not disclose or delete information at the direction of the wrong person. We may decline a request where we are permitted or required to retain information, for example to comply with a legal obligation, to establish or defend legal claims, or to complete a transaction you asked us to carry out. If we decline, we will explain why.

If you ask an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf, we may request proof of that authorization. Exercising any of these rights will not result in discriminatory treatment.

Children

The Site is directed to a professional audience in the United States. It is not intended for, or designed to attract, children. We do not knowingly collect, use, or sell personal information from children.

If we learn that we have inadvertently collected personal information from a child, we will delete that information from our records as promptly as is reasonably practicable. If you are a parent or legal guardian and believe that a child has provided personal information to us through the Site, please contact us using the details in the Contact section of this policy so that we can review the matter and take appropriate action.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, the services we offer, or applicable legal and regulatory requirements. Whenever we make a change, the revised version will be posted on this page and the effective date at the top of the policy will be updated, so you can always see when the policy was last reviewed.

We encourage you to review this page periodically to stay informed about how we collect, use, and protect your information. Your continued use of our services after an updated policy has been posted means you accept the revised terms.

If we make a material change to this policy (for example, a change that significantly affects how we handle your personal information), we will take reasonable steps to bring that change to your attention before it takes effect. If you have any questions about this policy or a particular update, please contact us using the details provided in this policy.

Contact

Questions, requests, or concerns relating to your personal information may be sent to contact@govarrow.com. To help us respond quickly, please include your name, the email address associated with your records, and a short description of your request.

We aim to acknowledge privacy requests promptly and will let you know if we need additional information to verify your identity before acting on a request.
